Subject: Changes in Air Quality Alert for Middle Tennessee and

         South Central Kentucky Effective April 27, 2017

 

Effective Thursday April 27, 2017, at 700 AM Central Daylight

Time, 1200 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the NWS Weather

Forecast Office in Nashville, TN, will add two counties to the

Clarksville, TN, metro area air quality alerts (MEMAQAOHX). At

the request of the Tennessee Department of Environment and

Conservation, Trigg and Christian Counties in Kentucky will be

added to Clarksville area air quality alerts.

 

KYZ017 Christian County, KY

Including Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell

 

KYZ012 Trigg County, KY

Including Cadiz and Fort Campbell

 

These changes have been requested by and coordinated with the

Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and NWS

Paducah.

 

Partners and users of WFO Nashville (OHX) air quality alert

products will need to update their system(s) to continue

receiving correct air quality alert products.
