Subject:  Termination of Ensemble Kernel Density MOS (EKDMOS)

          dissemination over the SBN effective April 12, 2018

 

Based on an assessment of the Software Recommendation and

Evaluation Committee (SREC), EKDMOS will no longer be

disseminated on the Satellite Broadcast Network (SBN), effective

on or about Thursday, April 12, 2018. EKDMOS will continue to be

produced on the Weather and Climate Operational Supercomputing

System (WCOSS) and will continue to be used as an input to the

National Blend of Models (NBM). EKDMOS grids also will be

available for download on the TGFTP server. EKDMOS gridded

images, text products and meteograms will continue to online at:
