SUBJECT:  Implementation of Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF)

          Service for EAR Kearney Regional Airport, Kearney, NE,

          Effective: July 1, 2014


Effective Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at 0000 Universal Coordinated

Time (UTC), the NWS office at Hastings, NE, will begin TAF

service for a new site. After that date, NWS will issue routine

and updated TAFs for this airport 24 hours a day.


NWS personnel/offices will need to add the following identifier

to their communications systems to receive the new TAFs:

In addition, the new TAF will be added to the existing TAF

collectives below, which are transmitted to FAA personnel and

other external users.

FTUS90 KWBC   FAA Weather Message Switching Center and FAA


FTUS52 KWBC   Global Telecommunication System


Holders of NWS Procedural Instruction 10-813 on TAF should make

add this change to the appendices.
