Prepare for the possibility of minor wind damage with downed small branches and loose objects being blown about. A few older and weaker trees could fall resulting in isolated power outages. |
| Moderate |
Prepare for the likelihood of large branches and some downed trees with significant power outages. Debris will block some roadways. |
| High |
Prepare for the likelihood of extensive areas of downed trees and power lines resulting in widespread power outages lasting for many days, if not weeks. Damage to buildings and homes is likely. Downed trees and power lines will make many roads impassable. Conditions similar to Hurricane Gloria in 1985 are likely. |
| Extreme |
Prepare for the likelihood of widespread downed trees and power lines resulting in power outages lasting weeks. Widespread damage to homes and building is likely. Most roadways will be impassable due to downed trees and debris. |
