Files Established for General Purposes
This Server is planned for removal in the near future. It is recommended that you go to the various data types listed under "NEW" TOC Directory & File Name Standards.
This Gateway server contains files of WMO formatted messages which are created for meeting general user requirements and sent to the File Server at IP# 140.90.88.142 under the designated file names are described below. The message seperator field is 18 ASCII characters as detailed in the File Name description. You can not access these files from this html service, you must use standard FTP connection procedures as described. In all cases where there is a x in the file name, it is an "x" in lower case as given in the file name description below.
The data is stored on the server as soon as possible after receipt by the Gateway.
The characters in the file name, which are bold, are variable fields and the date-time-group changes as each new product is written to disk.
