Specific Area Message Encoding
(SAME) Codes
If you have a NOAA Weather Radio receiver with Specific Area Message
Encoding (SAME) capability, you can filter incoming alerts so that the
alarm is set off only for the county or counties you specify. See your
radio documentation for information on setting up this function. You will
need the codes from the table below.
