JavaScript that changes highlighting or fonts is not an issue for accessibility unless the information conveyed in the "mouseover" is necessary to understand or navigate the Web site.

Applets and Plug-ins are not currently supported by the text browsers or screen readers; however, you can make applets directly accessible by making use of the <NOSCRIPT> tag and alternative text links.
