  EASTERN EDDY COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 130 AM MDT

* AT 924 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED
  THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING 7 MILES
  SOUTHWEST OF MALAGA...OR 19 MILES SOUTH OF CARLSBAD...MOVING
  NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH. RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3
  INCHES HAVE FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN EDDY COUNTY WHICH
  COULD CAUSE FLOODING IN THE CARLSBAD AREA AND ROADS TO THE SOUTH
  OF THE CITY.

* THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
