flood warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  102 River at Maryville affecting Andrew and Nodaway Counties.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.This product along with additional weather

  The 102 River at Maryville.
* from this morning until further notice.
* At  4:30 AM Monday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to
  rise to near 21.4 feet by late this afternoon.
* At 18.0 feet...The east bank of the river floods. Water also
  approaches the village of Arkoe.

  and continue to rise to near 24.2 feet by early monday afternoon.the
  river is expected to fall below flood stage by Thursday morning.
* Impact...at 24.0 feet...Five homes in Anclote River Estates flood.
* Impact...at 23.0 feet...Evacuation recommended for residents of
  the Anclote River Estates. Over 300 homes in the area may need to be
  evacuated.
* Impact...at 22.0 feet...There is water over the roadway along the
  Elfers Parkway.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.2 feet
  on Mar 31 1987.

  Taylor Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

All persons with interest along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. If you
see flood waters: Turn around. Don`t drown.

click on your state. Select Rivers and Lakes AHPS under current
conditions and click on your river point.

The Flood Warning continues for
 the Steinhatchee River near Steinhatchee (US 19).* Until further notice.
* At  8:45 AM Sunday the stage was 13.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.2 feet.
* Forecast: The river will continue rising to near 15.8 feet by
  tomorrow morning. Additional rises may be possible
  thereafter.
* Impact: At 15.7 feet: Water has flooded all of River Road NE and
  Ancient Oaks private roads up to 3 feet deep in some areas. All
  houses and mobile homes now have water flowing underneath. Water is
  also flooding property and is under some houses on Cooey Island
  near Palm Street NE. Emergency management also reports that flooding is
  worse along lower stretches of the river south of the gage.
