For the San Bernard River, at Boling, Minor flooding is occurring and is
expected
to continue.

The current weather is dominated by an upper level trough of low pressure. This
weather system will produce
rainfall amounts ranging from 0.25 to 0.75 inches. The extended outlook is for
dry and cool conditions through the
end of the week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

  SOUTHERN JASPER COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS...

* UNTIL 415 PM CDT WEDNESDAY

* AT 1015 AM CDT...REPORTING GAUGES INDICATE INDICATED MINOR
  FLOODING CONTINUES ALONG THE NECHES RIVER FROM NEAR WEISS BLUFF TO
  THE SALTWATER BARRIER. THE WATER LEVELS THIS MORNING ARE ESTIMATED
  TO BE NEAR 13.4 FEET AND THE LATEST READING AT THE SALTWATER
  BARRIER IS 3.8 FEET. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO HOLD NEARLY STEADY
  FOR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

THESE WATER LEVELS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE ADDITIONAL FLOODING TO
LOW LYING COMMUNITIES ALONG THE RIVER IN NORTHWEST ORANGE COUNTY
FROM AROUND LAKE VIEW TO THE SALTWATER BARRIER THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
