RAIN ACROSS KODIAK ISLAND THIS MORNING AND THEN TAPER OFF BY THIS
AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL BE IN A SHORT LULL DURING THE DAY WITH
WESTERLY FLOW BETWEEN 5 TO 15 MPH. A STRONG WAVE WILL USHER A COLD
FRONT THROUGH KODIAK ISLAND TONIGHT BETWEEN 9 PM AND MIDNIGHT
WHICH WILL INCREASE WINDS BETWEEN 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS BETWEEN
40 TO 50 MPH. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO SUSTAIN AT THESE SPEEDS
THROUGH SUNDAY AS A COLD DENSE AIR MASS FILTERS IN FROM THE NORTH.
