AFTERNOON OVER THE COASTAL WATERS...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REDEVELOP
OVERNIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON.

AT 120 AM PDT THERE WAS CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS JUST TO THE WEST OF
CATALINA ISLAND AND EXTENDING ABOUT 35 NM TO THE WEST. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE SLOWLY MOVING TO THE NW AT 7 KT.

LOCALLY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS SHOULD BE EXPECTED NEAR ANY
SHOWERS AND DEADLY LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE UP TO TEN MILES AWAY FROM
THUNDERSTORMS. WATERSPOUTS AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL CAN ALSO
DEVELOP WITH THUNDERSTORMS.

MARINERS SHOULD TAKE PROPER PRECAUTIONS AND CONSIDER REMAINING IN
SAFE HARBOR UNTIL THE STORMS DIMINISH. CHECK CONDITIONS AND
