.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A CLIPPER SYSTEM WILL BRING SNOW SHOWERS TO MUCH OF THE AREA
TONIGHT. A NORTHWEST WIND WILL INCREASE AFTER MIDNIGHT...ESPECIALLY
WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER...WHERE GUSTS AROUND 35 MPH WILL BE
COMMON.

BLOWING AND SHALLOW DRIFTING SNOW ARE EXPECTED WITH THE SNOW
SHOWERS IN EASTERN IOWA. THIS WILL CAUSE PERIODS OF LOW VISIBILITY
AND SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS LATE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SNOW SHOWERS AND STRONG WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH WILL CONTINUE
MONDAY. THE MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE WILL LIKELY BE IMPACTED...
ALTERNATING BETWEEN PERIODS OF NO SIGNIFICANT WEATHER...QUICKLY
CHANGING TO SNOW SHOWERS...BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED
VISIBILITIES...AND SHALLOW DRIFTING ACROSS ROADS.

SNOW SHOWERS WILL DIMINISH IN COVERAGE DURING THE AFTERNOON...BUT
