THE REGION. THE MAIN HAZARDS FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINFALL. GUSTY WINDS AROUND 40 MPH ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS OVERNIGHT...PARTICULARLY
ALONG AND WEST OF THE INTERSTATE 65 CORRIDOR IN CENTRAL KENTUCKY.

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY TONIGHT
BRINGING SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION. THE MAIN THREATS
FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF
HEAVY RAINFALL. GUSTY WINDS AROUND 45 MPH OR SO MAY ALSO BE
POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS...PARTICULARLY ALONG AND WEST
OF THE INTERSTATE 65 CORRIDOR AND CLOSER TO THE TENNESSEE STATE
LINE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A LARGE UPPER LOW WILL APPROACH THE OHIO VALLEY LATE SUNDAY AND
SLOWLY MOVE EAST ACROSS THE REGION NEXT WEEK. ON-AND-OFF SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
ONCE AGAIN...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL
CAN BE EXPECTED. AREAS THAT RECEIVE SEVERAL ROUNDS OF HEAVIER
RAINFALL DURING THIS PERIOD LIKELY WILL SEE SOME NUISANCE FLOODING
AND PONDING ON ROADWAYS.
