CHARACTERIZED KANSAS CITY WEATHER IN JUNE...

The average temperature at the Kansas City International Airport was
74.8 degrees, which was 1.3 degrees above normal. The average high
temperature was 83.7 degrees, or 0.2 degrees above normal. The
average low temperature was 65.8 degrees which was 2.2 degrees above
normal. The highest temperature for the month was 95 degrees on the
20th. The lowest temperature was 57 degrees on the 1st and 2nd. This
was tied for the 51st warmest June over the 127-year record for
Kansas City.

Precipitation came in at 7.58 inches for the month, or 2.35 inches
above normal. The greatest total in a 24 hour period was 2.25 inches
on the 3rd. This was the 19th wettest June over the 127-year record.
