  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HEAT INDICES WILL REACH THE MID TO UPPER 90S OVER WESTERN
  MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS TODAY.

AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTHEAST TOWARD
THE REGION LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WHILE
THE EXACT TRACK OF THIS COMPLEX OF STORMS REMAINS SOMEWHAT
UNCERTAIN...AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM WARSAW TO
LEBANON TO LAKE OF THE OZARKS APPEAR MOST LIKELY TO SEE THESE
STORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY
WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S CAN BE
EXPECTED AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME
  SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM
WEDNESDAY INTO THE UPCOMING FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND.
THERE IS A LIMITED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ACROSS THE
AREA WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. FLOODING WILL ALSO BE A
CONCERN FOR THOSE AREAS THAT SEE MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF STORMS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
