134 PM CDT WED MAY 25 2016

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

STORMS MAY THEN RE-DEVELOP LATER THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS CENTRAL
KANSAS AND MAY THEN BE ABLE TO DRIFT EAST INTO THE AREA LATE
THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THERE IS UNCERTAINTY IF
STORMS WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT INTO THE AREA THOUGH. IF STORMS
CAN SPREAD INTO THE AREA THERE WOULD BE A LIMITED CHANCE FOR A
FEW OF THE STRONGEST STORMS BEING CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO
THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND DAMAGING WINDS TO 60 MPH LATE THIS
  EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE
REGION THROUGH THIS WEEKEND. ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE BREAKS AND
  DRY PERIODS BETWEEN THE ROUNDS.

ALONG WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS
APPEAR TO BE THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FROM THE
  STRONGEST STORMS.

HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE SAME AREAS COULD RESULT IN LOCALIZED
  FLOODING CONCERNS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
