MONTANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TONIGHT. SMOKE FROM CANADIAN
FIRES AND A TEMPERATURE INVERSION ARE REDUCING VISIBILITY ACROSS
THE AREA AND IS CAUSING EYE AND BREATHING IRRITATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
SMOKEY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO LIFT TUESDAY.

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED FOR FORT PECK LAKE
DURING THE DAY ON TUESDAY. SOME THUNDERSTORMS COULD HAVE GUSTY
WINDS AND SOME HAIL TO NEAR ONE INCH FROM HIGHWAY 24 EASTWARD
INTO NORTH DAKOTA.

THE FOURTH OF JULY COULD PRESENT SOME ISSUES AS WELL WITH WINDS
ON FORT PECK LAKE AND THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING AS A COLD FRONT
MOVES THROUGH. THE TIMING IS STILL NOT CERTAIN WITH THE PASSAGE OF
THE COLD FRONT BUT IT COULD MEAN A WINDY EVENING FOR THOSE WANTING
TO DO FIREWORKS.

OVERALL...THINGS ARE DRYING OUT FROM FORT PECK LAKE WESTWARD TO
THE LITTLE ROCKIES AND THE JUDITHS. LIGHTNING COULD CAUSE SOME
ISSUES WITH FIRES...AND WINDS WITH FRONTAL PASSAGES COULD ALSO BE
A PROBLEM IF THE PUBLIC IS NOT CAUTIOUS TO ENSURE FIRES ARE NOT
STARTED.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH NORTHEAST MONTANA ON TUESDAY WITH A
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH ARE
EXPECTED IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. A LAKE WIND ADVISORY MAY BE
NEEDED FOR FORT PECK LAKE.
