...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in North
Dakota...
  Souris River near Foxholm affecting Ward County
For the Souris River Basin including Foxholm...Minor flooding is
occurring and is expected to continue.

.Lake Darling outflows are increasing to match increased outflows from
Canadian reservoirs upstream. These releases have now pushed the river
level at Foxholm above flood stage. The river level is expected to rise
to near 12.2 feet by Saturday, and remain near that level through
the middle of next week. At a level of 12 feet, rural flooding begins in
the Foxholm area. People along the Souris, downstream of Foxholm, can expect
minor rises over the next several days. At these release levels little impact
is expected. However, additional increases from Lake Darling may be
needed in the future.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Do not drive into areas where water tops the
roadway. Turn around...Don`t drown.

Canadian reservoirs upstream. These releases have now pushed the river
level at Foxholm above flood stage. The river level is expected to rise
to near 12.2 feet by Saturday, and remain near that level through
the middle of next week. At a level of 12 feet, rural flooding begins in
the Foxholm area. People along the Souris, downstream of Foxholm, can expect
minor rises over the next several days. At these release levels little impact
is expected. However, additional increases from Lake Darling may be
needed in the future.

Safety message...Do not drive into areas where water tops the
roadway. Turn around...Don`t drown.

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.2 feet by
  Saturday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Rural flooding begins.

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in North
Dakota...
  Souris River near Foxholm affecting Ward County
For the Souris River Basin including Foxholm...Minor flooding is
occurring and is expected to continue.
