505 AM EDT THU OCT 30 2014

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN CONNECTICUT...ALL
OF MASSACHUSETTS EXCEPT BERKSHIRE COUNTY...SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE
AND RHODE ISLAND.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

GIVEN THE EXPECTED TRACK OF A COASTAL LOW PRESSURE...THE RISK FOR
ACCUMULATING SNOW LATE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY IS RATHER LOW...BUT
STILL CAN NOT BE RULED OUT.

THE BIGGEST CONCERN REMAINS A PERIOD OF STRONG WINDS LATE
SATURDAY...AND ESPECIALLY SUNDAY. NORTH TO NORTHWEST WIND GUSTS
OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST LOCATIONS...WITH PERHAPS
SOME GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH FOR A TIME ACROSS CAPE COD AND NANTUCKET.
THIS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN THE NEED FOR WIND HEADLINES THIS
WEEKEND. GIVEN MANY TREES STILL HAVE AT LEAST SOME LEAVES ON
THEM...THE RISK FOR TREE DAMAGE AND ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES WILL
BE ENHANCED.

FINALLY...THERE IS AT LEAST A LOW PROBABILITY FOR MINOR COASTAL
FLOODING AND BEACH EROSION DURING THE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING HIGH
TIDE ACROSS THE EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS COAST...AS WELL AS PORTIONS
OF CAPE COD AND NANTUCKET. SOME OF THE HOT SPOTS WOULD BE
SALISBURY AND PLUM ISLAND...HULL...SCITUATE AND PERHAPS SANDWICH
HARBOR AND NANTUCKET HARBOR.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
