.NOW...

AT 5:16 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS INDICATED
THAT THE LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN ARKANSAS HAD PUSHED EAST...INTO WEST CENTRAL
ARKANSAS...AND OUT OF THE FORECAST AREA. A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS
AND STORMS REMAINED OVER FAR NORTHWEST ARKANSAS...MAINLY WITHIN
CARROLL AND MADISON COUNTIES. THESE REMAINING STORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED TO BECOME SEVERE...HOWEVER WILL LIKELY PRODUCE FREQUENT
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN. THESE SHOWERS AND
STORMS WILL TRACK EAST...INTO SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AND NORTHERN
ARKANSAS OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR SO...LEAVING ALL OF EASTERN
OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS CLEAR. THIS WILL BE THE LAST SHORT
TERM FORECAST FOR THIS EVENT.
