AND TEMPERATURES MODERATING BACK NEAR NORMALS. LOWS TONIGHT WILL

THE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING IN FROM THE WEST HAS CLEARED THE
CLOUDS AWAY. A FEW SITES IN THE ALLEGHENIES HAVE ALREADY SET NEW
RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING.

THE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD RIGHT OVER THE REGION
TODAY...PROVIDING PLENTY OF SUNSHINE. DESPITE THE SUNSHINE...THE
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY REBOUND TO THE UPPER 30S IN THE FAR
NORTH AND NEAR 50 DEGREES IN THE FAR SOUTH. THESE HIGHS ARE ABOUT
15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

AFTER ANOTHER VERY COLD NIGHT...THURSDAY WILL FEATURE FAIR SKIES
AND TEMPERATURES MODERATING BACK NEAR NORMALS. LOWS TONIGHT WILL

WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS WERE ACROSS PENNSYLVANIA OVERNIGHT. A COLD
FRONT OVER NORTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA SEPARATED WINTER LIKE
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 30S TO MORE SUMMER LIKE LOWS IN THE 60S
AT 5 AM.

THE FRONT WILL SLOWLY MOVE ACROSS THE KEYSTONE STATE TODAY.
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WILL BE ACROSS THE REGION...ALONG WITH A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR EARLY TODAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL OFF QUICKLY AS THE FRONT MOVES EASTWARD.
RAIN WILL LIKELY CHANGE TO SNOW ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTHERN
AREAS...WHERE SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE BEFORE THE SNOW
ENDS LATER THIS EVENING. WINDS WILL BE ON THE GUSTY SIDE.

TEMPERATURES BY WEDNESDAY MORNING WILL BE UPWARDS OF 40 DEGREES
COLDER THAN THIS MORNING. LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE TEENS ACROSS THE
WEST AND NORTH...TO THE 20S ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST. FREEZE WARNINGS
ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTHEAST.
