High pressure over the Great Lakes will drift eastward and produce
quiet weather across Pennsylvania over the next couple of days.
Clouds over portions of northern and western Pennsylvania will give
way to a mostly sunny afternoon statewide. It will be cooler and
noticeably less humid than it has been recently, with highs ranging
from around 70 degrees in the Alleghenies to the low 80s in the
Lower Delaware Valley.

Skies will remain mainly clear tonight, with most locations seeing
lows dip into the 50s. The chillier valleys of north-central
Pennsylvania, however, will likely see temperatures drop into the
40s.

Another mostly sunny day will follow for Thursday. Afternoon highs
should be a few degrees warmer, ranging from the mid 70s in the
Laurel Highlands to the mid 80s in the far southeast.

along the New York border this morning. The rest of the day
will be mostly sunny and slightly cooler than normal. It will be
much less humid over the eastern half of the state today. Expect
highs to range from the lower 70s in the Alleghenies to the lower
80s in the lower Delaware Valley.

The low temperature overnight will vary from around 50 degrees
in the northern mountains to the upper 60s in Philadelphia.
The high temperature Wednesday will range from the lower 70s

There were a few showers across eastern areas early on.

A secondary cold front over the central Great Lakes early
this morning will move to just the east of the Keystone
state by Wednesday morning.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible
today and some could linger into this evening. Highs will range
from the lower to mid 70s across the north and west, to the
lower to mid 80s across the southeast. Lows tonight will range
from the lower to mid 50s across the northern and western areas,
to the upper 50s across the southeast. Highs on Wednesday will be
a few degrees cooler than today.

Most of the remainder of the week will feature temperatures close
to normal and mainly dry conditions.
