508 AM AST MARTES 30 DE JUNIO DE 2015

AGUACEROS DISPERSOS OCURRIERON SOBRE LA COSTA NORESTE DE LA ISLA
GRANDE DE PUERTO RICO DURANTE LA NOCHE Y ALREDEDOR DE EL YUNQUE. LAS
ACUMULACIONES ERAN POR LO GENERAL MENOS DE UNA DECIMA DE UNA PULGADA
PERO EL AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL DE SAN JUAN REGISTRO UNA CUARTA DE
UNA PULGADA POCO ANTES DE LAS 200 AM. LAS BRISAS DISMINUYERON
DURANTE EL ANOCHECER Y ESTUVIERON MUY LEVES LUEGO DE LA MEDIANOCHE.
LAS TEMPERATURAS TARDE EN LA NOCHE FLUCTUARON DESDE LOS 70S A CERCA
DE 80 GRADOS.

CONTINUARAN LAS BRISAS Y LAS CONDICIONES BRUMOSAS Y MAYORMENTE
ESTABLES A TRAVES DE LAS ISLAS HOY. UNA ONDA TROPICAL DEBIL SE
MOVERA SOBRE LAS AGUAS DEL CARIBE ESTA NOCHE HASTA EL MIERCOLES EN
LA MANANA. SIN EMBARGO...GRAN PARTE DE LA HUMEDAD PERMANECERA SOBRE
LAS AGUAS DEL CARIBE...COMO RESULTADO NO SE ESPERA ACUMULACION
SIGNIFICATIVA DE LLUVIA. PARA MEDIADOS DE LA SEMANA...OTRO PULSO DE
POLVO DEL SAHARA SE MOVERA SOBRE LA REGION...TRAYENDO CONDICIONES
BRUMOSAS Y ESTABLES NUEVAMENTE A TRAVES DE LAS ISLAS LOCALES.

A TRAVES DE LAS AGUAS COSTERAS HASTA EL MIERCOLES...LOS NAVEGANTES
EXPERIMENTARAN OLEAJE DE 5 A 7 PIES CON VIENTOS DE 15 A 20 NUDOS
CON RAFAGAS MAS FUERTES OCASIONALMENTE. UNA ADVERTENCIA PARA LOS
OPERADORES DE EMBARCACIONES PEQUENAS ESTA EN EFECTO PARA LAS AGUAS
MAR AFUERA DEL ATLANTICO Y DEL CARIBE AL IGUAL QUE PARA LOS PASAJES
LOCALES. LOS OPERADORES DE EMBARCACIONES DEBEN EJERCER PRECAUCION EN

WEATHER SUMMARY FOR PUERTO RICO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN JUAN PR
530 AM AST MON JUN 29 2015

SKIES WERE PARTLY CLOUDY TODAY ACROSS PUERTO RICO AND ADJACENT
ISLANDS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR
DETECTED VERY LITTLE RAIN ACROSS THE LOCAL WATERS AND NO RAIN
OVER LAND. WINDS WERE GENERALLY FROM THE EAST AT 10 MPH OR LESS.
OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE HIGH 70S TO LOW 80S ACROSS
THE COASTAL AREAS.

FOR TODAY...A RELATIVELY DRY AIR MASS AND STABLE AIR MASS WILL
CONTINUE OVER THE LOCAL REGION...LIMITING THE SHOWER DEVELOPMENT.
THE SAHARAN AIR LAYER AND SUSPENDED SAHARAN DUST WILL LINGER ACROSS
THE FORECAST AREAS DURING THE REST OF THE DAY...CAUSING MOSTLY FAIR
WEATHER AND HAZY SKIES. A TROPICAL WAVE IS STILL FORECAST TO MOVE
ACROSS THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...BUT SO FAR
MOST OF THE ASSOCIATED MOISTURE SHOULD MOVE SOUTH OF THE REGION.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...MARINERS WILL FIND SEAS AT 6 FEET OR
LESS EXCEPT IN THE OFFSHORE ATLANTIC AND CARIBBEAN WATERS AS WELL
AS THE LOCAL PASSAGES WHERE SEAS WILL RISE UP TO 7 FEET. WINDS WILL
BE BETWEEN 15 AND 20 KNOTS IN EXPOSED WATERS WITH OCCASIONALLY HIGHER
GUSTS. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE OFFSHORE
ATLANTIC AND CARIBBEAN WATERS AS WELL AS THE LOCAL PASSAGES. SMALL
CRAFT SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION ELSEWHERE.
