FOR THE REMAINDER OF TODAY...SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND WILL BE BETWEEN
TWO LOW PRESSURE AREAS...ONE OVER THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES AND ONE
SOUTHEAST OF NANTUCKET. THIS SPELLS BENIGN WEATHER FOR MOST OF OUR
REGION...HOWEVER SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE...MAINLY ACROSS THE WEST AND
NORTHWEST HALF OF THE REGION.

FOR TONIGHT...A FEW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MAINLY THE WESTERN
HALF OF NEW ENGLAND THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER QUEBEC WILL BUILD SOUTHWARD OVER NEW ENGLAND
FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL BRING OUR REGION DRY WEATHER WITH
TEMPERATURES AT OR SLIGHTLY BELOW SEASONABLE NORMS.

RIVER LEVELS WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY OR FALL SLIGHTLY THROUGH
FRIDAY.
