There will be isolated showers with a few thunderstorms into the
evening hours. Afterwhich, it will become dry and seasonable tonight
and Thursday as high pressure builds over our region. Under mostly
clear skies tonight, temperatures will relax back into the mid 50s
to low 60s. Then under mostly sunny skies on Thursday, temperatures
will warm into the low and mid 80s across the interior, with 70s
across the Cape and islands.

An approaching cold front on Friday could cause widely scattered
showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon into early Saturday,
afterwhich high pressure will over build over New England providing
a star spangled banner holiday weekend. Dry weather is expected with
afternoon temperatures Saturday and Sunday averaging in the low and
mid 80s across the interior, with 70s across the Cape and islands.
But on Monday it will be slightly warmer with highs topping out in
the mid and upper 80s across the interior, but mid 70s to low 80s
across the Cape and islands. Lows each weekend morning will average
in the mid 50s to mid 60s.
