STORMS WILL AFFECT LOCATIONS ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM
AMISTAD NEW MEXICO TO LIBERAL KANSAS. THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL INCREASE IN AREAL COVERAGE THROUGH THE LATE EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT HOURS AS THEY CONTINUE TO MOVE SOUTHEAST. EXPECT HEAVY
RAINFALL ALONG WITH WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WITH THE STRONGER
STORMS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND ONE TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS CAN
BE EXPECTED THIS EVENING FROM THE SHOWERS...THEN RAINFALL AMOUNTS
WILL INCREASE TO AROUND ONE TENTH TO ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH WITH SOME
HEAVIER AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES FROM THE STRONGER STORMS LATER
