AROUND MID MORNING...SHOWERS AND A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS
CONTINUED ALONG A LINE FROM NEAR PARIS TO SULPHUR SPRINGS TO
ATHENS TO THORNTON. THIS ACTIVITY WAS SLOWLY MOVING TO THE EAST
AND NORTHEAST AT AROUND 5 TO 10 MPH. ALSO...SHOWERS...AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS WERE NOTED NEAR A LINE EXTENDING FROM OLNEY TO
NEWCASTLE TO BRECKENRIDGE. OTHERWISE...SKIES RANGED FROM PARTLY TO
MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS MOST OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL TEXAS.

THROUGH THE REST OF THIS MORNING...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO PUSH EASTWARD WITH THE BEST CHANCE OF RAIN BEING EAST
OF A LINE FROM PARIS TO SULPHUR SPRINGS TO ATHENS TO THORNTON. SHOWERS AND A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO LINGER ACROSS PORTIONS OF
YOUNG...STEPHENS...JACK...AND PALO PINTO COUNTIES. THE MAIN
THREATS WITH THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE HEAVY RAIN...CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY WINDS. OTHERWISE...SKIES SHOULD
REMAIN PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS MOST OF NORTH AND CENTRAL TEXAS.
