LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. ACROSS THE PLAINS...LESSER
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED MONDAY AS A TIGHT
PRESSURE GRADIENT DEVELOPS OVER THE REGION. THE STRONGEST WINDS
ARE EXPECTED OVER THE NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
PLAINS...WHERE WINDS WILL GUST TO OVER 50 MPH DURING THE DAY. THE
COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS AND LIGHT SNOWFALL MAY PRODUCE AREAS
OF BLOWING SNOW.
