EXTREME NORTHWESTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTIES UNTIL 400 PM CDT FRIDAY...

AT 252 PM CDT...FLOODING CONTINUED DUE TO HIGH WATER LEVELS ON RAINY
LAKE. THE WATER LEVELS OF RAINY LAKE AT THE WATER SURVEY CANADA
GAUGE NEAR FORT FRANCES HAVE RECEDED NEARLY 7 INCHES SINCE
JULY 14. THE LAKE OF THE WOODS CONTROL BOARD FORECASTS LAKE LEVELS
TO CONTINUE RECEDING THROUGH JULY 28.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...SHORELINE
LOCATIONS ALONG RAINY LAKE.

WHILE HIGH WATER IS IMPACTING THE AREA...MANY AREA RESORTS REMAIN
OPEN FOR BUSINESS. SEVERAL CAMPSITES AT VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK HAVE
REOPENED...HOWEVER SOME SITES REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REPORT FLOODING TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY SO THAT THEY
MAY TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO CLOSE FLOODED ROADWAYS. THEY WILL
RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DULUTH MN.
