Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
624 AM EDT Thu Mar 23 2017
.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will build across Pennsylvania today, supplying the
state with sunny skies and light winds. A warm front will approach
from the west tonight, spreading light rain into much of the state
by dawn Friday. Temperatures at the surface could be just cold
enough to support a period of freezing rain over the central and
eastern part of the commonwealth. Any light rain or freezing rain
should lift north of the region by Friday afternoon, with much
milder air spreading into the state.
