HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. FLASH FLOODING IS EITHER
OCCURRING OR IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
NORTH CHARLESTON...SUMMERVILLE...GOOSE CREEK...HANAHAN...SLANDS BRIDGE...
ARCHDALE...MAGNOLIA GARDENS AND MIDDLETON PLACE.

OVER THE LAST 1 TO 2 HOURS...RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES HAVE
OCCURRED MAINLY ACROSS LOCATIONS FROM AROUND NORTH CHARLESTON TO
MIDLAND PARK...AND LADSON. AN AREA OF MODERATE RAIN IS CURRENTLY
MOVING BACK INTO SOUTHERN DORCHESTER COUNTY AND ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF UP TO AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDDAY. THERE HAVE
BEEN REPORTS OF FLOODING IN DORCHESTER MANOR...WITH SEVERAL ROADS
REPORTED FLOODED BY DORCHESTER COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.

DISPATCH RECENTLY REPORTED THAT INTERSTATE 95 IS CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 18 AND 24...MAINLY IMPACTING THE SOUTHBOUND
LANE.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
RIDGELAND...JASPER...COOSAWHATCHIE...GRAHAMVILLE...OLD HOUSE AND
SWITZERLAND.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER THE LAST 24 HOURS HAVE RANGED FROM 4 TO 6
INCHES ACROSS MUCH OF THE COUNTY...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 8
INCHES OR MORE. THE HIGHEST REPORTED AMOUNT SO FAR HAS BEEN FROM A
COCORAHS OBSERVER LOCATED 5.8 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF RIDGELAND WITH
8.20 INCHES OF RAIN ENDING AT 6 AM. AN AREA OF LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY
MODERATE RAIN IS CURRENTLY MOVING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE WARNED
AREA...THOUGH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE LIGHT AND LESS
THAN HALF OF AN INCH.
