  North Platte River near Henry affecting Scotts Bluff County
  North Platte River near Mitchell affecting Scotts Bluff County
  North Platte River near Minatare affecting Scotts Bluff County

.Hydrologic Summary...Upstream reservior releases will keep the North Platte
River in the western Nebraska Panhandle high through this week. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms are expected for the next several days which may add additional
short notice rises to the river.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded areas. Move to higher ground. The water
may be deep enough to float you and your vehicle. Turn around, don`t
drown.

* Record flooding is forecasted, with a maximum stage of 6.7 feet,
  which is 1.2 feet above flood stage.
* The river will crest around 6.7 feet Friday evening.
* Impact...at 7.5 feet...Major lowland flooding occurs. Only minor
  flooding in the town of Henry.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 6.6 feet
  on Jul 23 1983.

  occurring, with a stage of 8.7 feet measured at 7 AM Thursday.
* Moderate flooding is forecasted, with a maximum stage of 9.4 feet,
  which is 1.9 feet above flood stage.
* The river will crest around 9.4 feet Saturday afternoon.
* Impact...at 9.5 feet...Major flooding occurs across southern
  portions of Scottsbluff. Major flooding of homes and agricultural
  land occurs near the river. Flood wave travel time from Mitchell to
  Scottsbluff is about 10 to 12 hours.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.3 feet
  on Jun 2 1971.

* Impact...at 8.5 feet...Lowland agricultural flooding intensifies and
  becomes more widespread. Homes along the North Platte River will be
  totally inundated with basement and overland flooding.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.0 feet
  on May 27 1973.

  North Platte River at Saratoga affecting Carbon County

.Hydrologic Summary...Snow melt continues for the headwaters and tributaries of
the Upper North Platte River. Cooler temperatures have slowed the snow melt...
but warmer temperatures ar eexpected by this weekend. In addition...there should
be an increase in shower coverage today and Friday that could add additional
rises to the river at Saratoga.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded areas. Move to higher ground. The water
may be deep enough to float you and your vehicle. Turn around, don`t
drown.

* Minor flooding is forecasted, with a maximum stage of 8.7 feet Tuesday
  morning, which is 0.2 feet above flood stage.
* The river will rise above the flood stage of 8.5 feet Monday morning.
* Impact...at 9.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas at the Deer Haven
  RV Park intensifies and becomes more widespread.  Standing water
  inundates yards of homes along the river in town.  Flood waters
  begin impacting access to Veterans Island Park. The golf course
  near the Saratoga Inn becomes inundated with water.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.7 feet
  on May 30 1958.

* Impact...at 8.5 feet...Flood stage. Low lying areas in the Deer
  Haven RV Park just north of Saratoga begin to be impacted by flood
  waters. Water approaches low lying areas of homes along the river
  in town. Water enters low lying areas of Veterans Island Park.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.5 feet
  on May 13 1962.

.Hydrologic Summary...

Snow melt continues for the headwaters and tributaries of the Laramie
River at Laramie. Colder temperatures have slowed the snow melt...but
do expect an increase as temperatures warm later this week. In
addition...there should be an increase in shower coverage
Thursday and Friday this week that could add additional rises to the
river at Laramie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  The Laramie River at Laramie.
* For the Laramie River at Laramie, Minor flooding is occurring, with
  a stage of 8.9 feet measured at 08 AM Tuesday.
* Moderate flooding is forecasted, with a maximum stage of 9.0 feet,
  which is 1.0 feet above flood stage.
* The river will remain at 8.9 feet through Wednesday morning then drop
  to 8.8 feet through Thursday evening. The river is then forecast to reach
  moderate flood stage of 9.0 feet by Noon Friday.
* Impact...at 9.0 feet...Water overflows the greenway at Spruce and
  Park Streets. Homes next to the greenway along the right river bank
  experience moderate flooding. Water begins to encroach the mobile
  home park along the south end of McCue Street along the left river
  bank. Water is bankfull behind trailer homes within the Lee Trailer
  Court located just north of Curtis Street. Optimist Park south of
  Garfield Street begins to flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8 feet
  on Jun 14 2015.
