following river in Indiana...

  Wabash River...


.The Wabash River at Covington has fallen below flood stage in
western Indiana and the river is expected to continue to drop for
the foreseeable future.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Be alert to flood debris on previously flooded roads. Keep children
away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests
should remain alert to changing river conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for a portion of the following river in
west-central Indiana...

  Wabash River...

.The ice jam in the Covington area has broken up according to the
Fountain County EMA.  The river continues to fall and has dropped
one foot in the past 12 hours at the US Highway 136 bridge.  The
river will continue to fall through the remainder of the weekend.

Ice jam flooding can be very localized and affect some areas much
worse than others.  Report severe flooding to local officials.

To date ice jam flooding this year is not as bad or extensive as
that experienced in February and early March 2014.  River ice will
continue to slowly melt through the weekend.  Flooding will end by
Sunday.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

* At  9:45 AM Saturday the stage was 18.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  tonight.
* At 18.0 feet...Five Crossings, a local county river park at old
  U.S. Highway 136 bridge site begins to flood.
