TO FALL...

RECENT HEAVY RAINS LED TO A QUICK RISE IN THE DOUBLE MOUNTAIN FORK OF THE BRAZOS RIVER LOCATED NEAR JUSTICEBURG YESTERDAY. THE RIVER CRESTED THURSDAY EVENING AT 12.7 FEET AND HAS FALLEN STEADILY SINCE THEN TO 7.7 FEET AS OF 9 AM THIS MORNING. THIS FALLING TREND IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE. HOWEVER...ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND COULD LEAD TO ADDITIONAL RISES OVER THE COMING DAYS. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE FORECAST FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION.

RECENT HEAVY RAINS LED TO A QUICK RISE IN THE DOUBLE MOUNTAIN FORK OF THE
BRAZOS RIVER LOCATED NEAR JUSTICEBURG.  THE RIVER CRESTED THURSDAY EVENING NEAR
12.6 FEET AND HAS FALLEN TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF TWO TO
FOUR INCHES OF PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH SUNDAY AND
