Widespread heavy rainfall that fell near the Double Mountain Fork Brazos River earlier
this morning has caused the river to rise to 11.0 feet at 7 am this morning, and is expected
to crest to 11.7 feet by this afternoon. Flood stage is 19.0 feet. It is forecasted to
drop back down to around 8.7 feet by 7 am Wednesday.

  Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River near Childress 10N affecting
  Childress County

Heavy rain that fell near and upstream of Childress 10N Monday evening
and early Tuesday morning is forecast to cause the Prairie Dog Town
Fork of the Red River to rise to just above flood stage this afternoon.
The river is forecast to crest around 10.2 feet by early this evening
before falling back below flood stage tonight. This forecast could
change depending on if any additional rain falls in the watershed
this morning.
