.Water levels along the Little Wabash River have falled below flood
stage early this evening, with minor flood conditions coming to an
end. At Carmi, the river first rose above flood stage on March 13th
during the early evening hours and crested near 33.4 feet during the
evening of March 19th.

at Carmi. Minor flooding will continue through Thursday before
falling below flood stage.

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
