  NORTH CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SUPERIOR...

* UNTIL 645 PM MST

* AT 340 PM MST STORMS CONTINUE TO AFFECT HIGHWAY 177 SOUTH OF
SUPERIOR. ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE WEAKENED SOMEWHAT AND WILL CONTINUE TO
DISSIPATE THROUGH 4 PM...RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH AT LEAST 6 PM BEFORE TAPERING OFF. LOW LYING AREAS ALONG
HIGHWAY 177 AS WELL HIGHWAY 60 AND LOCAL ROADS IN SUPERIOR COULD
ALSO SEE PONDING THROUGH 6 PM.

* LOCATIONS THAT MAY EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT
LIMITED TO...SUPERIOR...HIGHWAY 177.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS THAT NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND STREAMS WILL
SUDDENLY HAVE RUNNING WATER. UNBRIDGED CROSSINGS MAY BECOME
HAZARDOUS. THERE WILL BE PONDING OF WATER ON STREETS AND LOW SPOTS
CAUSING TRAFFIC TO BE IMPEDED. IF YOU ENCOUNTER PONDING OR FLOWING
WATERS...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BY FOOT OR AUTOMOBILE. TURN
AROUND...DONT DROWN.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING
WATER CAN BE POWERFUL ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN
