* AT 250 AM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF
STRONG AND SLOW MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY
HEAVY RAINFALL OVER COFFEE COUNTY JUST NORTH AND WEST OF DOUGLAS AND
SECONDARY ROADS MAY BECOME IMPASSABLE OR WASHED OUT IN SOME
LOCATIONS ESPECIALLY ALONG STATE ROAD 32 NEAR BUSHNELL. THESE STORMS
HAVE ALREADY PRODUCED RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES...WITH
ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES LIKELY THROUGH 445 AM EDT TUESDAY MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES.
ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF
CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND. MAKE THE
SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
