FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHERN/CENTRAL MO AND SE KS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
355 AM CST SAT JAN 31 2015

.DISCUSSION...

LIGHT RAIN WAS ATTEMPTING TO MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE
MISSOURI OZARKS THIS MORNING. AS THE DAY PROGRESSES...THIS
RAIN SHOULD EXPAND IN AREAL COVERAGE AND BECOME A LITTLE
HEAVIER.

THE BEST CHANCES FOR DECENT RAIN WILL OCCUR TONIGHT...WITH NEAR
100 PERCENT COVERAGE EXPECTED.

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING A COLDER AIRMASS INTO THE OZARKS ON
SUNDAY. THIS FEATURE WILL ALSO CAUSE A BRIEF CHANGE OVER TO
LIGHT SNOW. NO ACCUMULATIONS ARE ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
