NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
834 AM EDT WED OCT 22 2014

FORECAST IS BASED ON IGNITION TIME OF 1100 EDT ON OCTOBER 22.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE...CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.

.DISCUSSION...COLD FRONT HAS MOVE OFF THE EAST COAST THIS MORNING.
COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL CONTINUE TO FILTER INTO THE AREA THROUGH
THE DAY. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO DROP DOWN
TO AROUND 30 PERCENT LATER THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL BE LIGHT OUT
OF THE NORTHWEST UNTIL AROUND 930 AM...THEN THE LOW-LEVEL MIXING SHOULD
BEGIN TO INCREASE...WHICH WILL ALLOW STRONGER WINDS AROUND 1 KFT TO
MIX DOWN TO THE SURFACE. WINDS WILL REMAIN OUT OF THE NORTH TO
NORTHWEST...BUT SURFACE WINDS WILL INCREASE AND CAUSE SOME GUSTS TO
BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MPH THROUGH NOON. AFTER NOON...WINDS WILL REMAIN
AROUND 10 MPH BEFORE DIMINISHING SHORTLY BEFORE SUNSET.
