.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH MUCH
OF THE DAY BEFORE ENDING FROM WEST TO EAST LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO THIS EVENING. VERY SMALL HAIL...BRIEF DOWNPOURS AND LIGHTNING
ARE THE MAIN HAZARDS WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO DEVELOP.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

RAINFALL FROM TODAY COMBINED WITH RECENT RUN OFF COULD LEAD TO
SOME RIVERS GOING BACK UP TOWARD BANKFULL OR FLOOD STAGE BY THIS
WEEKEND. CURRENT FORECASTS SUGGEST AROUND AN INCH TO AN INCH AND A
HALF OF RAIN FALLING ACROSS THE REGION. MORE RAIN FROM THE LATE
WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK COULD ALSO CAUSE SOME ADDITIONAL
RISES...BUT THERE IS MORE UNCERTAINTY DURING THIS TIME WITH WHERE
THE HEAVIER RAIN COULD END UP FALLING.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY NIGHT INTO
SUNDAY NIGHT...MAINLY FOR NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN. IT IS TOO FAR OUT AT THIS TIME TO
DISCERN WHETHER SEVERE WEATHER IS POSSIBLE FROM THESE STORMS.
