THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. THE MAIN AREA OF CONCERN WILL BE ALONG AND NORTH OF A
LLANO...AUSTIN...LEXINGTON LINE. THE MAIN THREAT WILL LARGE HAIL
AND DAMAGING WINDS.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING OVER VAL VERDE COUNTY DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND
INCREASING SOUTHWEST WINDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION ON MONDAY. AHEAD
OF THE COLD FRONT...ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE. HOWEVER...THESE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE
SEVERE. VERY WINDY CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR BEHIND THE FRONT AS
NORTHERLY WINDS STEADILY INCREASE THROUGHOUT THE DAY. WITH DRY AND
WINDY WEATHER BEHIND THE FRONT...A FEW HOURS OF ELEVATED FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR AREAS WEST OF U.S. HIGHWAY
281.

WINDS WILL DIMINISH AND MUCH COLDER AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE
REGION MONDAY NIGHT...RESULTING IN OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES
THAT WILL DROP WELL BELOW NORMAL. THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY WHERE NEAR FREEZING CONDITIONS
ARE POSSIBLE.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TUESDAY AFTERNOON
FOR AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 35 CORRIDOR DUE TO LOW
HUMIDITIES.

ELEVATED TO NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WEST OF INTERSTATE 35 DUE TO LOW HUMIDITIES
AND INCREASING SOUTH WINDS.
