A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST
TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON. AS THE ATMOSPHERE WARMS AND BECOMES MORE
UNSTABLE THIS AFTERNOON SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REDEVELOP
OVER THE AREA. SHORT LIVED STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS COULD
FORM THIS AFTERNOON BRINGING THE THREAT OF HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. HEAVY RAINS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS WELL WITH RAINFALL RATES OF
AROUND 2 INCHES PER HOUR BEING COMMONPLACE.

LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
SHOULD MOVE INTO THE HILL COUNTRY AND EVENTUALLY SOUTHEAST TEXAS
THIS SYSTEM WILL HAVE A HIGH POTENTIAL FOR VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
STRONG DAMAGING WINDS.

RAINFALL TOTALS THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING ACROSS THE AREA SHOULD
AVERAGE 0.5-1.0" BUT SCATTERED TOTALS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WILL BE
POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
