SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE-HALF OF AN INCH TO AROUND ONE
INCH IS EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THIS WILL
RESULT IN RISES ON SOME AREA RIVERS AND CREEKS AND COULD RENEW
MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING...MAINLY ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST
KANSAS. REFER TO THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR DETAILS. THE RISK FOR
ORGANIZED STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS IS LOW TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SCATTERED SHOWERS WITH A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER
INTO WEDNESDAY WITH SOME MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING POSSIBLE.
STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.

AFTER A PERIOD OF DRY WEATHER ON THURSDAY...MORE RAIN FROM
THUNDERSTORMS IS IN THE FORECAST AGAIN FRIDAY THROUGH THE
MEMORIAL HOLIDAY WEEKEND. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE STRONG
TO SEVERE WITH POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING.
