THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING IN AREAS SOUTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM
OSHKOSH...TO GRANT AND WAUNETA. CONSIDERABLE CLOUDINESS WILL
LIMIT THE HEATING POTENTIAL TODAY THAT MAY BE OVERCOME AS AN
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES NORTH. A FEW STORMS MAY REACH
SEVERE LIMITS WHERE LARGE HAIL WOULD BE THE PRIMARY HAZARD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SUNDAY THERE WILL BE A MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN
AREAS EAST OF A LINE FROM WAUNETA...TO STAPLETON AND BUTTE. A WARM
FRONT WILL LIFT NORTHEAST WHILE THE DRYLINE PUSHES EAST THROUGH
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. SOME STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IS LIKELY WITH A FEW
REACHING SEVERE LIMITS TO PRODUCE SOME LARGE HAIL. MONDAY THE MAIN
SYSTEM WILL MOVE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS. AS CLOUDS CLEAR AND
TEMPERATURES CLIMB SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY
DEVELOP WITH THE HEATING OF THE DAY.

THE ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH PLATTE RIVER
TODAY AND SUNDAY WILL CONTINUE TO ADD ADDITIONAL RAINFALL THAT
WILL MOVE DOWNSTREAM FOR HIGH FLOWS TO CONTINUE ON THE SOUTH
PLATTE RIVER. REFER TO THE RIVER AND FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR LATEST
UPDATE AND DETAILS.
