AN UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL BRING INCREASING WESTERLY WINDS ACROSS THE
AREA SUNDAY.  STRONG WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF THE DAVIS AND GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS WHERE A HIGH WIND

MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS COULD DEVELOP FRIDAY NIGHT,
GENERALLY ALONG AND EAST OF A HOBBS TO FORT STOCKTON LINE, AS A
POTENT UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM MOVES OVER THE REGION.  SOME OF
THE STORMS COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES.

WESTERLY WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH COULD AFFECT THE GUADALUPE AND
DAVIS MOUNTAINS SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY.  AT THIS TIME, IT APPEARS
ELEVATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET IN THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS HAVE THE GREATER
CHANCE OF EXPERIENCING THESE STRONG WINDS.
