SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE GUADALUPE AND DAVIS
MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, WITH MORE ISOLATED STORMS FROM
THE SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS, SOUTH THROUGH THE UPPER TRANS PECOS
AND INTO THE BIG BEND REGION.  DUE TO WEAK STEERING FLOW, SOME OF
THE STORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.  IN ADDITION, A
STORM OR TWO COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH HIGH WINDS, HAIL AND
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES.

HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WITH TEMPERATURES OF 104 TO 108 DEGREES
WILL OCCUR AGAIN TODAY ALONG THE RIO GRANDE.  SINCE LOWS TONIGHT ARE
EXPECTED TO BE AT LEAST 75 TO 80 DEGREES ALONG THE RIO GRANDE RIVER
FROM CANDELARIA, DOWNSTREAM AROUND THE BIG BEND REGION AND INTO THE
LOWER TRANS PECOS, A HEAT ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THESE AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

LOCATIONS ALONG THE RIO GRANDE RIVER FROM CANDELARIA, DOWNSTREAM
AROUND THE BIG BEND AND INTO THE LOWER TRANS PECOS WILL HAVE LOW
TEMPERATURES OF 75 TO 85 DEGREES, AND HIGHS OF 105 TO 109 THROUGH
TUESDAY NIGHT.  THEREFORE, A HEAT ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT
FOR THESE AREAS UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING.

TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE THROUGH MIDWEEK ACROSS THE
REST OF WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO.  THE POTENTIAL FOR
HEAT RELATED ILLNESS EXISTS FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN OUTDOOR
ACTIVITIES, SO STAY HYDRATED BY DRINKING PLENTY OF WATER.
TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE LOWER TO MID 70S WILL OFFER SOME
RELIEF.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS
AND OVER PORTIONS OF THE ADJACENT PLAINS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.  MORE ISOLATED STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM THE SOUTHEAST
NEW MEXICO PLAINS TO THE VAN HORN AND MARFA AREAS.  SOME OF THESE

WILL OCCUR AGAIN TODAY ALONG THE RIO GRANDE.  SINCE LOWS TONIGHT ARE
EXPECTED TO BE AT LEAST 75 TO 80 DEGREES ALONG THE RIO GRANDE RIVER
FROM CANDELARIA, DOWNSTREAM AROUND THE BIG BEND REGION AND INTO THE
LOWER TRANS PECOS, A HEAT ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THESE AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

LOCATIONS ALONG THE RIO GRANDE RIVER FROM CANDELARIA, DOWNSTREAM
AROUND THE BIG BEND AND INTO THE LOWER TRANS PECOS WILL HAVE LOW
TEMPERATURES OF 75 TO 85 DEGREES, AND HIGHS OF 105 TO 109 THROUGH
TUESDAY NIGHT.  THEREFORE, A HEAT ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT
FOR THESE AREAS UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING.

TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE THROUGH MIDWEEK ACROSS THE
REST OF WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO.  THE POTENTIAL FOR
HEAT RELATED ILLNESS EXISTS FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN OUTDOOR
ACTIVITIES, SO STAY HYDRATED BY DRINKING PLENTY OF WATER.
TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE LOWER TO MID 70S WILL OFFER SOME
RELIEF.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS
AND OVER PORTIONS OF THE ADJACENT PLAINS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.  MORE ISOLATED STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM THE SOUTHEAST
NEW MEXICO PLAINS TO THE VAN HORN AND MARFA AREAS.  SOME OF THESE
STORMS COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS, HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES.
