THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF
THE MID SOUTH TO THE WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER BEGINNING THIS
EVENING AND CONTINUING THROUGH TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY THREATS WILL
BE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH TONIGHT FOR THE ENTIRE
MID SOUTH. SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN MAY FALL AND RESULT IN FLASH
FLOODING...ESPECIALLY TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE THREAT FOR A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ON TUESDAY
ACROSS AREAS EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE PRIMARY THREATS
WILL BE STRONG WIND GUSTS AND SMALL HAIL WITH THE STRONGEST
STORMS.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY
AFTERNOON. THE THREAT FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE FLOODING
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST THE MORNING HOURS.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR EAST AND NORTHEAST ARKANSAS...THE
MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...FAR WEST TENNESSEE...AND FAR NORTHWEST
MISSISSIPPI FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING. THE
PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER THREATS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED
TORNADOES.

THE POTENTIAL WILL ALSO EXIST FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH
FLOODING ACROSS AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN MAY FALL OVER THESE LOCATIONS AND A FLASH
FLOOD WATCH MAY BECOME NECESSARY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MID
SOUTH AGAIN MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. THE GREATEST SEVERE
WEATHER POTENTIAL WILL BE ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF THE FORECAST
AREA. THE THREATS WILL AGAIN BE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED
TORNADOES.

THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH FLOOD THREAT SHOULD CONTINUE MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MAY NEED TO BE ISSUED
THROUGH THIS TIME PERIOD AS WELL.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. ADDITIONAL SPOTTER
ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING FOR
PORTIONS OF THE MID SOUTH.

A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. GUSTY WINDS WILL
BE THE PRIMARY CONCERN WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

A WET WEATHER PATTERN WILL DEVELOP EARLY NEXT WEEK ACROSS THE MID
SOUTH. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP AND MOVE
ACROSS THE REGION MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. HEAVY RAINFALL AND
FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THIS TIME PERIOD AND A FLASH
FLOOD OR FLOOD WATCH MAY BE NEEDED. PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR
THIS POTENTIAL AND THE LATEST FORECAST UPDATES THROUGH THE
UPCOMING WEEKEND.
