...FOG CONTINUES OVER THE GULF WATERS TODAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

VISIBILITY: VISIBILITIES WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THROUGH THE LATE
MORNING HOURS ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA. HOWEVER, AREAS WITH DENSE SEA
FOG WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON OVER THE GULF
WATERS.

RIP CURRENTS: INCREASING SOUTH WINDS LATER TODAY, ALONG WITH A
NORTH SWELL, WILL LEAD TO A SLIGHT RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT THE
ATLANTIC BEACHES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

PATCHY FOG IS POSSIBLE AGAIN LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY, BUT
IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE AS WIDESPREAD AS PREVIOUS NIGHTS.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA ON
THURSDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. THE MAIN THREATS
WILL BE OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES AND GUSTY WINDS.

THE RIP CURRENT RISK WILL INCREASE ALONG THE GULF COAST BEACHES
THURSDAY AS WINDS BECOME SOUTHWEST. THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL
THEN INCREASE ALONG THE ATLANTIC BEACHES LATE FRIDAY THROUGH THE
WEEKEND AS NORTHEAST WINDS PICK UP. THESE NORTHEAST WINDS WILL
ALSO INCREASE SEAS IN THE GULF STREAM AND LEAD TO DETERIORATING
MARINE CONDITIONS THIS WEEKEND.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED. HOWEVER, INDIVIDUAL
SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT FOG AND LOW VISIBILITY TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE IN MIAMI.
