.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP AND SPREAD NORTH LATER TONIGHT
LEADING TO LOCALLY MODERATE OR EVEN HEAVY RAIN ESPECIALLY OVER HIGHER
TERRAIN AREAS TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

SHOWERS...SOME WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN...WILL AFFECT SOUTHWEST
AND SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA FRIDAY THROUGH THE DAY ON SATURDAY. THE
BEST CHANCE FOR HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR DURING THE DAY ON FRIDAY. THERE
WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS ON
BOTH DAYS AND ANY STORM THAT DEVELOPS WILL LOCALLY ENHANCE RAINFALL TOTALS.

THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL LIKELY AFFECT THE HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS TO THE
NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX. HEAVY RAIN FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT MAY
LEAD TO BOTH URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING...CAUSING WASHES TO FLOW
HEAVILY AND LEADING TO SOME FLOODING OF ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
RAIN TOTALS IN THE LOWER DESERTS MAY EXCEED ONE INCH DURING THE
FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY PERIOD AND TOTALS IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN EAST
OF PHOENIX MAY EXCEED 1.5 INCHES.

RAIN AND RAIN SHOWERS WILL START TO DIMINISH IN BOTH COVERAGE AND
