TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM A FEW INCHES
AT MANY LOWER ELEVATION LOCATIONS TO AROUND A FOOT OR MORE OVER
THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTO RANGE...THE WET
MOUNTAINS AND TELLER COUNTY BY THIS EVENING. DUE TO THE
HEAVY...WET NATURE OF THE SNOW...POWER OUTAGES...TREE DAMAGE AND
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL IS ANTICIPATED OVER SNOW COVERED LOCATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ON
SATURDAY FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 7000 FEET. AFTER A BRIEF LULL IN
THE SNOW AND RAIN SATURDAY NIGHT...ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE
INTO WESTERN COLORADO ON SUNDAY. THIS STORM WILL BRING THE
POTENTIAL FOR MORE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FOR THE
HIGHER ELEVATIONS. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE EASTERN
SAN JUANS...SANGRE DE CRISTOS...WET MOUNTAINS...AND PIKES PEAK
REGION. AT THIS TIME...IT LOOKS LIKE AN ADDITIONAL 6-12 INCHES OF

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER LAS ANIMAS AND BACA
COUNTIES THROUGH 3 AM. THE PRIMARY THREATS WILL BE HAIL TO HALF AN
INCH IN DIAMETER AND LIGHTNING.

THIS STORM WILL BRING HEAVY...WET SNOW TO ELEVATIONS ABOVE 6000
FEET. ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM A FEW INCHES NEAR THE 6000
FOOT LEVEL TO AROUND A FOOT AT SOME EASTERN MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS BY
FRIDAY MORNING. DUE TO THE HEAVY...WET NATURE OF THE SNOW...POWER
OUTAGES...TREE DAMAGE AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE
THE SNOW FALLS.

BELOW 6000 FEET...SOME HEAVY WET SNOW MAY FALL AT TIMES...BUT
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIMITED BY TEMPERATURES.
HOWEVER...LIQUID PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF AN INCH WILL
BE POSSIBLE BY IN SOME AREAS BY MORNING.

RAIN AND SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE DAY
FRIDAY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING LIGHTNING AND SMALL
HAIL...WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER OFF TO SHOWERS FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH
ISOLATED RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS THEN PERSISTING THROUGH THE DAY
SATURDAY. BY THE TIME SNOW TAPERS TO FLURRIES FRIDAY EVENING...SNOW

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
THE COLORADO SPRINGS AREA AND THE SAN LUIS VALLEY.

SUNDAY INTO TUESDAY...CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN UNSETTLED ACROSS THE
REGION...WITH PERIODS OF RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUING.
ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE
PERIOD...MAINLY ABOVE 8000 FEET...BUT WITH SOME ACCUMULATION DOWN

OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND INTERIOR VALLEYS THURSDAY AFTERNOON...THEN
SPREAD ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. SNOW
WILL BE LIKELY ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS ABOVE ABOUT 7000 FEET THURSDAY
NIGHT AND FRIDAY...WITH SIGNIFICANT SNOW AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 10000
FEET. THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF TELLER COUNTY...INCLUDING THE SUMMIT
OF PIKES PEAK MAY SEE VERY HEAVY SNOW...WITH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN
