THIS WEEKEND. THE ASSOCIATED SURFACE COLD FRONT WILL REACH
WESTERN UTAH SATURDAY MORNING...THEN TRACK QUICKLY TO THE
NORTHEAST SATURDAY AFTERNOON. STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL EXIST
AHEAD OF THE FRONT ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTHERN UTAH SATURDAY
MORNING. THIS COLD FRONT WILL GENERATE NUMEROUS SHOWERS ALONG WITH
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. NORTHERN UTAH WILL SEE THE STRONGEST
SHOWERS AND STORMS SATURDAY AFTERNOON. STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHERLY

A MOIST PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO CROSS THE REGION
DURING THE UPCOMING WEEKEND...BRINGING GUSTY WINDS TO MUCH OF THE
AREA FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS LIKELY IN THE
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY ALONG WITH
MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES AREA WIDE. RAIN MAY MIX WITH SNOW AT
TIMES DOWN TO THE VALLEY FLOORS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL UTAH
SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY...WITH ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ON
THE BENCHES...AS WELL AS SOUTHEAST OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE.
