ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
OVER SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AS A WEAK COLD FRONT CROSSES THE
AREA. STORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED TO BECOME SEVERE...BUT A STRONG
STORM OR TWO IS POSSIBLE WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL.

THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX WILL BE IN THE EXTREME CATEGORY THIS
AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE WEST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA PLAINS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
AS WELL AS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WHEN AN UPPER LEVEL
SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE REGION.  WIDESPREAD SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

GUSTY WINDS ARE LIKELY ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA TUESDAY THROUGH
THURSDAY...ESPECIALLY DURING THE LATE MORNING THROUGH EARLY EVENING
HOURS. THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ON THURSDAY...BEHIND

AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. SUSTAINED
SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 45 MPH WILL
PERSIST THROUGH THIS EVENING OVER SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA...AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH
WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE NORTHWEST
AND WEST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA PLAINS...INTO EARLY SATURDAY MORNING
