ARIZONA...CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHERN NEVADA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING INCREASING WINDS TO THE AREA
FRIDAY. A WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MOST OF THE AREA FROM 11
AM TO 11 PM FRIDAY. A FIRE WEATHER WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MAINLY
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF SOUTHERN NEVADA AND NORTHWEST ARIZONA FOR
STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM.

THE STORM IS EXPECTED TO BRING WIDESPREAD RAIN AND HIGH ELEVATION
SNOW TO THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY WITH MUCH COOLER
TEMPERATURES SATURDAY. SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE AT THE
HIGHER ELEVATIONS BUT SNOW IS NOT EXPECTED TO IMPACT TRAVEL AREAS.

BUILDING HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING DRY AND WARMER CONDITIONS SUNDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT LIKELY THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

AN UNSEASONABLY STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING STRONG WINDS
TO MUCH OF THE AREA ON FRIDAY. WIND ADVISORIES AND/OR HIGH WIND
WARNINGS ARE LIKELY. THERE WILL ALSO BE CHANCES FOR RAIN...WITH SNOW
DOWN AS LOW AS 5000 FEET FRIDAY NIGHT. RAIN CHANCES WILL END FROM
WEST TO EAST ON SATURDAY...WITH DRY AND WARMER WEATHER EXPECTED
SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. GUSTY NORTH WINDS ARE LIKELY MONDAY AND
TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY IN THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY.

ARIZONA...CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHERN NEVADA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING OUT OF CALIFORNIA INTO NEVADA WILL
BRING WIDESPREAD STRONG WINDS TO THE AREA TODAY INTO TONIGHT. A HIGH
WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE EASTERN SIERRA SLOPES AND
OWENS VALLEY WHERE GUSTS TO 75 MPH ARE POSSIBLE DUE TO STRONG
DOWNSLOPE WINDS. A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF
SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA...SOUTHERN NEVADA AND NORTHWEST ARIZONA WHERE
GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WILL BE COMMON WITH HIGHER GUSTS IN THE
MOUNTAINS. WINDS WILL DECREASE THROUGH THE NIGHT TONIGHT BUT LOCALLY
BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE STILL LIKELY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

LIGHTER WINDS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. IT LOOKS LIKE
ANOTHER VIGOROUS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE AREA FRIDAY
THROUGH SATURDAY. STRONG WINDS ARE THE MAIN CONCERN FRIDAY WITH COOL
AND SHOWERY CONDITIONS FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY.
