AT 1245 MDT PM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE
BEGINNING TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE GILA AND
BLACKS RANGE. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED 4 MILES NORTH OF
IRON CREEK CAMPGROUND AND 7 MILES NORTHEAST OF PINOS ALTOS. THE
INITIAL MOVEMENT OF THESE SHOWERS AND STORMS WAS TOWARDS THE
NORTHEAST AT AROUND 5 MPH. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE
STORMS LOCALIZED AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE MAIN THREAT.
ADDITIONALLY GUSTY THUNDERSTORM WINDS OF UP TO 40 MPH WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE. ADDITIONAL STORMS ARE EXPECT TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA
